On Friday, May 31, 2024, English punk band The Damned returned to NYC for a performance at Hammerstein Ballroom with their 80’s lineup, billed as “the songs you want to hear by the people you want to play them.” Rat Scabies, Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, and Paul Gray (plus Monty Oxymoron) were joined by Lenny Kaye & Friends (celebrating the 52nd anniversary of Nuggets) and The Dictators for opening sets.
