On Tuesday, April 9, 2018, Eric B. and Rakim's "The Technique Tour" continued with the first night of a two night stand at Irving Plaza in New York, NY. There were DJ sets by Technique the DJ and DJ Kid Nu, and live performances by Yo-Yo and Eric B. and Rakim. Rah Digga performed during Yo-Yo's set and Cynthia Nixon spoke to the crowd as she is currently running against Andrew Cuomo for Governor.
