Tacocat and GYMSHORTS at Rough Trade NYC

Seattle's Tacocat are currently on tour in August along the east coast and came to Rough Trade NYC on Wednesday, August 15th for a show with their tourmates GYMSHORTS. Tacocat are currently working on a new record and their set includes songs from NVMLost Time, their first release, Shame Spiral, such as "Bridge to Hawaii," "Hey Girl," "Dana Katherine Scully," "Volcano," "The Internet," plus the forthcoming album. Closing their set with "Crimson Wave," the band left the stage and returned to play a two song encore ("I Hate The Weekend" and "UTI"). 

Touring the east coast with Tacocat were Providence, RI's GYMSHORTS who recently announced an upcoming tour with Death Valley Girls in the fall. A full gallery of both bands' sets appear above.
