Taxi Workers Alliance benefit featuring The Kominas, Heems, Arish Singh, and La Neve at Baby's All Right

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, a benefit show for the Taxi Workers Alliance took place in the afternoon at Williamsburg venue Baby’s All Right.

There were music performances by La Neve (who joked about it being drag brunch as the space has a restaurant and patrons were actually eating brunch while the show was happening) and The Kominas who had a special guest of rapper Heems who performed two songs with the band. There was also a set by comedian Arish Singh who did a presentation discussing history of NYC taxis and how taxi medallions have became predatory and extremely expensive for the many immigrant workers who drive cabs for a living.

Photos from the benefit show are available in the gallery above.
