COVID-19 Part Nine

During September and October 2020, we finally made our way to MoMA for the first time since March along with visiting Governors Island for the first time in over a year. After the MoMA visit, we walked through Midtown to catch the subway back into Brooklyn. The Midtown area, especially around Radio City Music Hall, felt pretty empty especially on a workday.

We also visited the Brooklyn Museum, and Ridgewood, Queens for the first time since the pandemic along with celebrating a friend’s birthday on the first day of indoor dining at Wonderville (we spent most of our time in their backyard), and attended Bushwig in Maria Hernandez Park as well. In October, I returned to Pioneer Works to cover an event for the first time in months.

Photodom is a black owned camera store located in Bushwick, Brooklyn and these rolls were processed by them by hand. During my visit to the store, I picked up a new point and shoot camera that I’ll be using going forward.
