On Friday, November 11, 2022, a comedy show called “Petting Zoo” took place at Cloud City in Brooklyn, NY. The premise of the show is simple: comedians perform sets while holding exotic animals such as tarantulas, lizards, birds, chinchillas, parrots, bearded dragons, and more. Friday night’s lineup, which was a part of the New York Comedy Festival, featured Yedoye Travis (paired with a snake named Destiny), Janeane Garofalo (a parrot named Señor), and Conner O’Malley, with co-hosts Charlie Sosnick and Mike Kandel also performing sets as well.
