NNAMDÏ and Babyfang at Union Pool
On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, multi instrumentalist NNAMDÏ (né Nnamdi Ogbonnaya) headlined a sold out show at Union Pool in Brooklyn, NY. The Chicago based musician was backed by a full band and the evening featured an opening set by local act, Babyfang. Babyfang features Théo Mode, Canteen Killa, and Evan Lawrence (formerly of Jelani Sei). The group formed five weeks before NYC shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
NNAMDÏ performed both guitar and keyboards and was accompanied by a guitarist, bassist, and drummer. His set comprised of songs from his 2021 EP, Are You Happy, along with material from 2020’s BRAT and photos from both Babyfang and NNAMDÏ in the gallery above.
