On Friday, December 29, 2023, Patti Smith and Her Band began their two night annual stand at Brooklyn Steel in honor of her birthday. The first show on Friday was the night before her 77th birthday, and marked my final concert of the year. This was also my first time capturing a performance by Patti since the opening show at Music Hall of Williamsburg in 2007.
