On Friday, April 7, 2023, Nottingham, UK’s Sleaford Mods returned to New York City in support of their newest album, UK Grim (Rough Trade Records). I last saw the duo about a year ago at Irving Plaza, and was very excited for their return stateside.

For Friday night’s show, they were joined by Sheer Mag, who I last saw at House of Vans in Brooklyn (RIP) in 2017. The stellar and “weird” bill was an absolute must see for me.
