On Saturday, November 30, 2024, TV on the Radio closed out their four night stand at Webster Hall in New York, NY. The show coincided with the 20th anniversary of Bowery Presents, and BP is celebrating their anniversary with concert residencies by NYC acts: LCD Soundsystem at Knockdown Center, Interpol at Brooklyn Steel, and TVOTR at Webster Hall.

TVOTR was supported on Saturday night by Bartees Strange, who did a solo set. Before beginning his performance, he shared that Webster Hall is one of his favorite venues in the world and he was opening for a band that changed his life when they performed on “Late Night with David Letterman” when he was a teenager in a small town.

I covered the special show for BrooklynVegan and photos are now available here. I last documented TVOTR twenty years ago when they played the Siren Music Festival, and so thrilled I got to cover their triumphant return in our hometown.
