On Saturday, June 29, 2024, Fishbone (of Los Angeles) and Son Rompe Pera (of Mexico City) performed sets at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! at Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park. This was the first time in the season’s 46-year-history that punk bands were booked to play the bandshell.
I captured sets from both acts for BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! and a few images from Saturday night are available in the above gallery, and on the festival’s Instagram account here.
