On Thursday, August 8, 2024, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre occurred at The Museum of Modern Art with a screening of the restored film along with a Q&A session moderated by Ron Magliozzi of MoMA and Caryn Coleman (of The Future of Film is Female) afterwards that featured the film’s screenwriter, producer, and actors.
