On Thursday, March 13, 2025, Kim Deal performed at Brooklyn Paramount in downtown Brooklyn in support of her solo album, Nobody Loves You More. She was joined by Chicago’s Ratboys for both NYC dates (Deal also performed the previous night at Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan, where I have seen her perform with The Breeders in the past). In addition to playing the full record in its entirety, she also indulged the audience with solo songs (such as “Beautiful Moon" and "Biker Gone”) and Breeders material (“Night of Joy,” “Safari,” “Walking With a Killer,” “Off You,” and “Do You Love Me Now?”). Kim’s assembled band for the tour included two other Breeders members (Mando Lopez and Kelley Deal), Lindsay Glover on drums, Susan Voelz on violin, Nick White, Harrison Whitford, Alison Chesley (a.k.a. Helen Money) on cello, and Kate Wakefield (Lungs).
Photos of both acts are now available on Impose Magazine here.
