On Saturday, August 9, 2025, Lyricist Lounge commemorated their 34th anniversary and the 30th anniversary of Raekwon the Chef’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… with a free show at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn at Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park.

In addition to Rae performing songs from OB4CL, there were DJ sets by Ant Marshall (co-founder of Lyricist Lounge) and Scram Jones, plus Lyricist Lounge alumni. And there were also special guest appearances by Smif-N-Wessun (who recently performed a Lyricist Lounge & BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! show in Brower Park) and Busta Rhymes.
