Heavens To Betsy at Bowery Ballroom on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Heavens To Betsy wrapped up their first east coast US show in over three decades with a show at Bowery Ballroom in NYC. They were joined by Calamity Jane, who were also performing in NYC for the first time in a very long time. The joint tour also featured Menopunks, who sold merchandise and their founder, Alicia J. Rose, performed two covers with Calamity Jane, and showed a trailer for their documentary that will be released in 2027 (and they are fundraising for its completion).
I covered the show for Impose Magazine and the full gallery can be found on their website. I first discovered Heavens To Betsy in college, and never thought I would ever see them live so being able to document this show was quite special.
