Competitive Winter Picnicking at Herbert Von King Park
On Saturday, February 28, 2026, another edition of Competitive Winter Picnicking took place in Herbert Von King Park in Bedford–Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, NY. Multiple teams assembled in the park that created themes, food, drinks, and games. The day was warmer, which meant that the snow from the previous weekend’s blizzard melted during this year’s edition. Many people who were enjoying the pleasant day came across CWP, and joined in on the fun. At the end of the event, three teams took home picnic basket shaped trophies after being judged by a group of clowns. Who were different from two teams of clowns called Clown Cult/Clown Slumber Party & Honk Shoo Hullabaloo
