On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, a fantastic indie rock evening took place in Central Park. Thanks to Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage a free concert of one name acts: Spoon (of Austin, TX), Ratboys (Chicago, IL), and Bodega (New York City) graced the stage at Rumsey Playfield during the 40th season of SummerStage. Bodega closed their set with a Spoon cover (and brought out their frontperson, Britt Daniel), Britt Daniel shared effusive praise for both opening acts, and had Hamilton Leithauser join them for two songs.
