Lyricist Lounge 35th Anniversary featuring Jadakiss and more at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! at Lena Horne Bandshell
On Friday, August 14, 2026, Lyricist Lounge commemorated their 35th anniversary with a free show at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! featuring a headlining set by rapper Jadakiss and performances by other rappers and DJ sets by DJ Tra$e beforehand. This was the second consecutive year of LL curating a show during BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn’s annual summer concert series at Lena Horne Bandshell.
Both Lyricist Lounge and Jadakiss received proclamations from elected officials on the 14th in front of a packed audience. I covered the whole event as a house photographer for BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! and some of the work I created last week can be found in the above gallery.
