On Friday, August 28, 2026, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! and The Action Lab presented Common and Special Guests to Honor the Social Justice Legacy of Harry Belafonte at Lena Horne Bandshell in Brooklyn, NY. The event featured live performances by DJ Cali Torrez, Adi Oasis, La Bruja, Ana Tijoux, and Common.
I covered the entire event as a house photographer for BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! (images can be found in the above gallery) and this was my final show of their 47th season.
