Les Savy Fav and Patio at Elsewhere
On Saturday, January 26, 2019, Brooklyn bands Les Savy Fav and Patio played a sold out show at Elsewhere in Bushwick.
Les Savy Fav’s last Brooklyn show was at Saint Vitus back on June 8, 2016. They were scheduled to play with Jawbreaker in Coney Island back in September but the show didn’t occur due to Hurricane Florence. They performed a benefit show at Junction in Long Beach, NY on Friday night (January 25th) before Elsewhere. Their set last night featured two balloon drops, confetti, a shop vac (which ended up crowd surfing), a garbage can, a body suit, and more.
LSF were joined by Patio, another Brooklyn band who will have a new record out this year on Fire Talk Records. Photos that I took of both acts during last night’s show, that sold out weeks ago, appear in the gallery above. I’ll be cleaning confetti out of random places during the next few days but it was so very worth it.
