On Friday, September 15, 2023, Hip-Hop Forever took place at Madison Square Garden featuring performances by Mary J. Blige, Wu-Tang Clan, EPMD, and Sean Paul in New York, NY. The show was presented by local radio stations Hot 97 and WBLS and featured special appearances by DJs from the location stations (past and present) with a DJ set by Funk Flex plus special appearances by Diddy, French Montana, Lola Brooke, Coi Leray, Milk Dee (of Audio Two), DJ Kool, Greg Nice (of Nice & Smooth), and CL Smooth (of Pete Rock & CL Smooth).
