ELUCID, billy woods, Cavalier and Child Actor, Rebelmatic, and more at Baby’s All Right
Celebrating the release of his newest album, Revelator, ELUCID booked a sold out show at Baby’s All Right on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The bill featured DJ Haram, Rebelmatic, Cavalier and Child Actor, plus billy woods.
DJ Haram began the night in the bar area of the venue after doors opened at 7PM. NYC hardcore punk band Rebelmatic were the first band on stage in the main room at 8PM. Rebelmatic features Creature on vocals, Alkatraz on guitar, Karnage on bass, and Ramsey Jones on drums. I first witnessed the band perform live in 2020 as they would perform pop up shows on a street in north Brooklyn when live venues were all closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Creature encouraged the audience to sing along and all four members were energetic and gave us a punk set before the Revelator show continued with hip-hop.
Up next were Child Actor who was briefly joined by Quelle Chris, who introduced Cavalier to the stage. Cav and Child Actor released CINE via Backwoodz Studioz, and performed songs from that album live. The duo were followed by Backwoodz Studioz founder billy woods, who performed a solo set, and would return to the stage briefly later during ELUCID’s headlining performance.
