On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Yeah Yeah Yeahs continued their sold out, three night stand at Beacon Theatre in New York, NY as a part of their “Hidden in Pieces” tour. The trio of Brian Chase, Karen O., and Nick Zinner are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their band with a series of theater shows with string and piano accompaniment.

I covered the second night of the YYY run at Beacon for Bowery Presents’ “The House List” with a review by Rachel Brody and the piece is now available on their site. There is also a review by Julyssa Lopez in Rolling Stone that features two photos of mine from this show.

I first saw YYY’s perform in March 2002 at Knitting Factory on Leonard Street, so seeing them perform at the Beacon over two decades later with acoustic guitars and bigger band was truly special.
